About Us

Who we are

Ignition Hacks 2023 is a hybrid hackathon that aims to introduce participants to artificial intelligence, both Web2 and Web3 development, as well as their applications. Held by a group of Canadian high school students as a part of a non-profit organization, it acts as a medium for student collaboration and enrichment by focusing on hands-on application of the aforementioned technologies. This is done by holding a series of workshops and seminars featuring guest speakers, with the chance to win big by making your own project with guidance from the team. By working together, we hope to inspire more youth into the world of programming.

What we specialize in

Our main specialty is introducing hackers, both newcomers and seasoned veterans, to the world of artificial intelligence and both Web2 and Web3 development. Whether you're just learning to code, or you've got a decade of experience under your belt, we have a hacker experience custom made for you. Beginners can choose to join Division Sigma, where they can team up to participate in a series of workshops and short tasks (“Proofs”), which accumulate to create a final project unique to each team. This allows newcomers to learn more about the aforementioned topics while also being able to make a project that's unique to them and their team. On the other hand, seasoned hackers or beginners looking for a challenge can choose to join Division Delta, where they can team up with others to solve problems in Healthcare, Education, and Environmental industries with a focus on any of the technologies mentioned prior.
